Associated Network Engineers specialises in the planning an implementation of networking installations. This includes the installation of the cabling and the supply and commissioning of the necessary hardware and software. Structured cabling is designed around a star topology, a point to point structure which in the case of accidental damage, restricts system breakdown to that link. Flood wiring a building with cabling and associated hardware is the ideal solution to cope with evolving and expanding networks. Our engineers have experience of many types of cabling from Cat5/6, Ethernet, Fibre Optic and copper cable. Following a site survey which is carried out by one of our engineers, a complete site plan of the project requirements is made. This will then give the customer the opportunity to check through this plan to ensure all areas have been covered in the quotation. Following cabling installation our customers are asked to accompany our engineers to carry out a final inspection. All cabling will be labeled and ports identified on site plan documentation. New site live soon.... Cat 5/6 cabling has the ability to run at 100Mhz (up to 100 Mbits data transmission) and is capable of carrying data or voice. Following continuity testing this cabling is guaranteed for 15 years. Fibre optic cabling can be used in most environments indoor outdoor, even in hazardous areas. Fibre Optic cables are suitable for installations that require runs of over 100m length. This type of cable is capable of transmitting data & voice in excess of 100Mhz.
